Giro accounts

A giro account is a business account opened in the name of a person (part time worker, craftsman, foreigner) whose income, according to the legislation presently in force, must be paid through a giro account in cash or by remittance by another natural or legal person.

The owner may dispose with the money placed in the account in the Bank branch where the giro account has been opened, by:

  • withdrawing cash;
  • money transfer on another account
Each change of balance is written down and can be printed as a statement upon the client's request.
