UniCredit Bank a.d. Banja Luka, was established 1911, with situated in Banja Luka and is a Bank with longest tradition in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In more than 100-year long history, this Bank went through most different transformations and worked successfully in different legal and organizational forms as a part of bigger number of banks and banking systems.
The first time it appeared under the name Banjalucka Banka d.d. Banja Luka was at the end of 1989, like a Joint Stock Company, with majority state capital. At the beginning of 2002, was started process of ownership transformation and the name of the Bank was changed from Banjalucka Banka to Nova Banjalucka Banka a.d. Banja Luka.
Since 1st June 2008 Nova Banjalučka Banka operates under the name of UniCredit Banka a.d. Banja Luka
